PARK:
Although Park is a freeplay hour, please remember that
you are always responsible for your child’s actions and
well being while participating in Park. Toddlearn® is in
no way a daycare facility and takes no responsibility
for the supervision of your child.
HEALTHY CHILDREN:
Nothing is more important than the health of all of our
Toddlearn® families.
If your
child has vomited, had diarrhea or has had a fever
within the last 24 hours they should stay home and rest.
If your child is showing visible signs of a cold they
should not attend Toddlearn® .
CLOTHING:
Although most of our Arts & Crafts materials will come
out of clothing, comfortable “Play clothes” should be
worn to class and Park. Children wear socks or go
barefoot and parents wear socks.
REFUNDS:
When you enroll in a Toddlearn® class you are utilizing
a spot that can generally not be filled until the next
session. If you must withdraw from your session you can
roll your tuition over to the next session or receive a
partial refund. You are refunded half the value of your
remaining session.
You must
officially notify your teacher that you are withdrawing
if you plan to roll your tuition over to the next
session or to request a refund.
MISSED CLASSES:
We eagerly anticipate and prepare for all of the
children to be in class on their scheduled day. If you
know in advance that you will have to miss a class,
please let the teacher know as soon as possible. Missed
classes must be made up during the session in which they
were missed. If you must miss your class, call to
schedule a make- up class. Missed classes will not be
refunded.
PARENTAL
ENCOURAGEMENT:
Toddlearn® classes are designed to be enjoyed together
as a “Parent/Child” learning experience. Children are
never forced to participate in any of the activities,
however they should be encouraged to participate by
their parent at least two times after the teacher has
introduced an activity. Remember that the first 45
minutes of class are designed as a Parent/Child learning
experience. The last 15 minutes of class is “Chat Time”
for the parents and freeplay for the children. Please
use class time to learn through play with your child.
ART:
Arts and
crafts projects are done in every class. The art
projects are always intended to be "process oriented",
not "product oriented." It is the process of creating
and discovering the art that is of importance, not the
finished product. |
