Heather and her husband, Tony, live in Tangipahoa Parish with their two children. Heather has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Social Work, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a professional and a mother, Heather values the importance of the family unit. She enjoys working one-on-one with families in her community, as well as, spending quality time with her children.

Heather’s previous work experience includes serving as the Director of a Head Start center from 2000 to 2006. During that time, she became aware of the importance of providing education to young children in a fun and nurturing environment. In 2006, she resigned from her full-time position at Head Start to stay home and be a full-time mom to her young children. Since her resignation from Head Start, Heather has worked part-time for the Tangipahoa Parish School Board as a Social Worker.

Toddlearn® is a unique program that provides a fun, educational, and social environment for both parent and child. Due to the limited number of educational activities available for young children in Hammond, LA, Toddlearn® is just what the Hammond area needs.

Heather is very excited to bring Toddlearn® to Hammond. She will have the opportunity to do what she loves - spending time with her family while also providing a much needed service to the community. Her hope is that everyone that comes to Toddlearn® will love it as much as she does.
